Our Lady and St Columba
Epiphany Lunch

Our Lady & St Columba Parish Wallsend established a group looking at ways to reduce loneliness for our elderly parishioners. The group has evolved from their Covid pandemic stewards. We funded a two-course hot lunch followed by entertainment from a singer. The aim being that social interaction between young and old will make the community grow.

Mini Vinnies

We supported development of a prayer garden to be used by children, staff and parents. This allowed St. Aidan’s to have a designated prayer area, a quiet outside space to allow all to pray and reflect on the changes COVID19 has had upon our lives. Alongside this, gaining the inspiration from nature to move onwards in our lives and learning.
