Passion Led Us Here

Mission

The Mercy Project is a Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIO). Our constitutions, as set down with the Charities Commission say ‘We aim to relieve suffering and distress of people who are in need by reason of their youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage in the area of Northumberland and Tyne & Wear in particular by the provision of care, support, advice and signposting to other sources of assistance. To be carried out in accordance with Christian principles and as a demonstration of Christian compassion and mercy.’  This work can take shape in all sorts of ways. If you would like to know more check out our Projects page or use the contacts section to find out more.

Vision

Growing the number of people who can say "I was hungry and you fed me, thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you received me into your homes, naked and you clothed me, in prison and you visited me"

Growing opportunity for individuals and organisations to use their talents to respond when they see a need.

Our ethos is to ensure that in everything we do we  are improving the quality of life for those we help.
