Hearts Of Love Summer Team

Dates: July 30 - August 9 Konotop, Ukraine - see video from last summer

Chester, UK - A meeting was held at Northgate Church recently in Chester to determine how many people might be interested in serving at the Hearts Of Love Centre in Ukraine this summer. Ninteeen people showed up for the evening with slides and video presented by Peter Wooding and Jeff Thompson with Mercy Project. Some of those present will be working at the summer camp in Chernigiv, and others will be going to the Konotop Hearts Of Love Centre.

A part of the trip cost (400 GBP) goes to support the ongoing work at Hearts of Love. Your fee also helps sponsor children to attend the daily camp activities. Airfare is extra and signups are happening now.

Mercy Project is pleased to announce the dates for our service opportunity at a summer camp in Chernigiv, just three hours from Kiev. We invite you to join us this summer for a life-changing trip as you experience what it’s like to reach out to at-risk children during a busy camp packed with fun activities. As you serve as a camp counsellor alongside our experienced Ukrainian team, whether you’re playing games, teaching crafts, sports, drama, dance, you’ll quickly get to know the kids. This will also provide plenty of opportunities to share the love of Christ with the children, along with daily small group Bible studies and prayer times.
