Hope Remains - Sloshing through the muddy snow covered road, it felt surreal, like a scene from the Boris Pasternak novel, “Dr. Zhivago.” The small, weather-beaten wooden home looked like it could be 100 years old.

 In years gone by, the faded blue paint had brightened up the entrance, but now it only looked dirty and depressing. Entering the home of Luba and her six children is a shock.
